Prefect bans sale of flammable products over New Year - The Prefect of the Vaucluse region has introduced a ban on fireworks, retail fuel and other flammable products. The ban is in force over New Year until 8am on January 2nd. The move comes due to the number of cars being set alight in the region. Firefighters in the area have intervened on several occasions over the last few weeks due to cars and dustbins being set alight in acts of vandalism.
