Paul Pogba signs with Monaco

Paul Pogba signs with Monaco - After an 18-month doping ban, Paul Pogba has returned to football, signing a two-year deal with AS Monaco in June 2025. The 32-year-old midfielder hadn’t played since September 2023, but became a free agent after leaving Juventus, making him an attractive option amid France's ongoing financial struggles in football. Monaco, seeking more experience to balance their youth-focused squad, secured Pogba despite concerns about his fitness. The club had also failed to land Jordan Henderson in January, signalling a shift towards integrating seasoned players. Pogba joins alongside fellow free transfer Eric Dier.
