Curfew confirmed in Nice - Spaeaking live on France 2 this evening the mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi has confirmed that Nice will implement a curfew from 11pm to 5am every evening from Saturday 21st March, in the fight to stem the spread of the coronavirus. The curfew does not apply to those employed in a service considered essential during the period of confinement.
The Promenade des Anglais will remain closed, markets are prohibited access to beaches is strictly forbidden and there will be controls at train stations across France to prevent passengers from taking non essential trips.
