Marseille socca chips or Nice socca-chips, that's the question?

Marseille socca chips or Nice socca-chips, that's the question? - A legal battle between Marseille Socca Chips or Nice Socca Chips is far from over according to local media. The creator of the Socca Chips has obtained a judgement of "forgery" against its rival in Marsieille however the latter has since appealed the decision.

Marseille socca chips or Nice socca-chips, that's the question? The battle stems from the question as to who is the inventor of the famous recipe? After 4 years of various legal procedures, the chef from Nice Luc Salsedo claims to be the man behind the recipe. While the company in Marseille won the the first round of legal action in 2017 it was later proven according to the court in Nice that the documents produced were false.

The creators of the Socca chips from Nice will now claim damages from their Marseille competitor up to 500,000 euros. The director of the company in Marseille has declared  "The chips war is not over yet".
