Marine rescue operation in the Var

Marine rescue operation in the Var - The region’s National Marine rescue service has carried out a rescue operation after two passengers on a cruise ship were taken ill on Tuesday evening shortly after 8pm. The ship at the time was 75km off the coast of Fos-sur-mer in the Var. Both passengers were air lifted by helicopter to hospital in Toulon where they are reported to be in a stable condition.
