Heatwave to hit France this week

Heatwave to hit France this week – From this Thursday, August 7th, a heatwave originating from Spain is expected to spread across much of France. Temperatures in southern Spain could reach up to 45°C, gradually moving northwards. The southwest of France, especially between the Aquitaine basin and Toulouse region, may see highs of 38 to 40°C. Paris and surrounding areas could exceed 30°C later in the week. The Alpes-Maritimes will experience milder heat, around 29–30°C, while the Var may reach up to 35°C. Urban areas could feel even hotter, with temperatures 8 to 10°C above seasonal averages. The heatwave is expected to last at least until early next week in southern regions.
