Chikungunya - Cases of chikungunya have more than doubled in Antibes in 15 days, rising from 40 to 87, making it the most affected city in France. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and seven states are suing Ticketmaster and its parent Live Nation, accusing them of working with brokers to illegally resell tickets at steep markups. Regulators say the firms ignored purchase limits, enabling resales on Ticketmaster’s own platform that generated $3.7bn in fees between 2019 and 2024. The lawsuit adds to ongoing antitrust scrutiny, with US authorities accusing Live Nation of monopolistic practices that drive up prices and harm consumers.

And - Canada’s PM Mark Carney and Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum have agreed to strengthen trade and security ties during a warm bilateral meeting in Mexico City. Both countries face heavy US tariffs under President Donald Trump and want to present unity ahead of the 2026 USMCA review.
