Banque Havilland Monaco rebrands as Moncrief Private Bank after acquisition - Banque Havilland (Monaco) SAM will relaunch as Moncrief Private Bank (Monaco) SAM in late 2025, following its acquisition by an international investor group. The deal, approved by regulators in Monaco and France, brings new leadership but promises no disruption to client services. In a statement released today, Thursday 7th August, it was announced that among the new owners are Monzo and Starling co-founder Jason Bates, wealth tech expert Maksym Koretskiy, and long-time Monaco resident Jim McColl. The bank plans to expand its services and roll out digital tools as part of its next growth phase. CEO Patrick Dauguet called it “a new chapter” focused on innovation and stability.
