Customers left without electricity in western France

Customers left without electricity in western France - Due to strong winds, 75,000 customers have been left without electricity this Monday morning in western France, particularly in Normandy, Brittany and the Pays de la Loire. 23 departments were placed on an orange alert due to strong winds. The SNCF reported some traffic difficulties because of trees falling on the tracks, in particular in the Pays de la Loire, in Île-de-France and in Normandy, where certain trains "did not leave this morning".

Due to the orange alert from Météo-France, the SNCF decided early on Sunday evening to interrupt passenger train traffic in advance on several lines in Normandy on Monday morning.
