A woman has died after falling on the train tracks at Monaco station. Traffic has been interrupted and the station is closed. Train traffic is completely at a standstill in both directions, between Nice and Ventimiglia. The fatal accident occurred shortly before 9 a.m. this Monday, September 30, a woman in her forties reportedly threw herself under the train as it passed, at Monaco station. She died instantly. Monaco firefighters who went to the site of the accident were unable to save her. The Monegasque public security also went there, in order to determine the exact circumstances of the accident. An investigation is underway. Traffic should resume at 11:15 a.m., according to the SNCF
