Snowshoe hiker reported missing has been found dead - The snowshoe hiker reported missing on Sunday evening in Isola 2000 has been found dead. Her body was discovered by a drone shortly after 10.30am this Monday morning. The 50-year-old victim was from the Alpes-Maritimes region and was staying in a hotel residence with her family. It was relatives which had raised the alarm on Sunday afternoon after she failed to return to the resort. Temperatures dropped to minus ten degrees during the night and the search was called off at 3:30am this morning resuming at 8am. An investigation is underway to find out exactly what happened.
