Snow and ice warning - The Alpes-Maritimes has been placed on a yellow weather alert due to "snow and ice" this Monday. After negative temperatures this Monday morning in the hinterland (and close to 0°C on part of the coast), temperatures are expected to drop a notch in the coming hours. The alert is to come into effect from 9pm. Note that the yellow avalanche warning triggered several days ago in the department, is still in force this Monday, December 12th.
