French government reshuffle expected to be announced today - Almost a month after the appointment of Gabriel Attal as France’s Prime Minister at Matignon, the French government reshuffle is expected to be finalised today Tuesday, February 6th. Several positions remain vacant, from Industry to Public Accounts, including Transport and Housing. Gabriel Attal and Emmanuel Macron have been announcing the formation of a tight government for weeks. It is currently made up of 15 ministers with the Head of State setting the objective of achieving a government of 30 members maximum. Both the Prime Minister and President were to meet for lunch at the Elysee today ahead of the reshuffle announcement.
