Equality report

Equality report - A report published today Monday 23rd January, by the High Council for Equality in France has shown that overall 93% of respondents of all ages note an “unequal treatment between men and women in different areas, including the world of work or politics”.  Among the important points of the study, the HCE points to the results concerning the generation of 25–34-year-olds. According to the report, 23% of them believe that sometimes you have to be violent to be respected. 20% estimate that it is necessary "to brag about your sexual exploits with your male friends", 22% estimate that it is necessary to "consume alcohol or drugs" and 21% to "know how to drive fast”.  Meanwhile the study also revealed that young women still struggle to find their place in society and that among respondents aged 15 to 24, 55% believe that it is "difficult" to be a woman in today's society.
