World’s oldest man dies - A Japanese man, recently named the oldest man on the planet, has died at the age of 112.
Chitetsu Watanabe was born on March 5th, 1907 in Tokyo. He died on Sunday in his retirement home. The announcement of his death comes less than two weeks after he was recognized as the male dean of humanity by the Guinness Book of Records.
Chitetsu Watanabe, father of five, said that the secret to his long life was to "never get angry and keep smiling". He also confessed a little fondness for delicacies such as custard and ice cream.
