Unemployment benefit - French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe has this morning, during a joint press conference with the Employment Minister Muriel Penicaud, spoken of the government unemployment reforms which are to be introduced this spring. The new measures aim to end the abuse of short term contracts and the level of compensation for executives. The upcoming reform, was taken over by the government following the breakdown in negotiations between employers and unions, the reforms objective is to save between 3 and 3.9 billion euros over three years.
