Two children found dead - The bodies of two children aged 5 and 7 have been found by the emergency services in a house in Cavaillon in the Vaucluse. Emergency services were alerted by the partner of their 42-year-old mother who was in the house when they arrived. According to the investigators, the woman suffocated the children in their sleep, before leaving a letter explaining her action and attempting to commit suicide. The mayor of Cavaillon described the news as “shocking and terrifying”.
