Strike action by hospital staff

Strike action by hospital staff - Hospital staff have called for strike action today in protest at poor working conditions, lack of resources and low wages. Demonstrations are planned across France, notably in the capital. Many staff claim to be “unable to ensure quality and safety of care” due to the poor conditions. Unions demanding more resources and manpower claim that the government is still to deliver the highly anticipated “plan of support”.
