Speed cameras - The French Ministry of Economy and Finance has announced that following the vadalisation of speed cameras on French roads, which started last year following the announcement that the speed limit was to be lowered from 90km/hr to 80km/hr on some departmental road and was continued by yellow vest protestors, the state has lost 209 million euros in revenue. 75% of speed cameras were damaged.

Meanwhile According to Road Safety France, since February of this year there has been an increase of 17.1% in the number of deaths on the roads.
