Motorist escapes unharmed after driving into Old port in Marseille

Motorist escaped unharmed after driving into Old port in Marseille - A motorist has driven into the Old port on Quai Marcel Pagnol in Marseille this morning. The incident occurred at around 7:50. The cause is believed to have been the GPS.

Emergency services intervened. This is the second time this type of incident has occurred at the same location as the investigation questions the GPS which indicates a non-existant road.

The driver, a 50-year-old man, was unharmed but suffered from hypothermia and shock.

According to port authorities this would be the 5th case in the last 5 months.
