Monte-Carlo Gala for the Global Ocean - It’s been announced that, the American actor, director and producer Robert Redford will be awarded by Prince Albert II of Monaco for his commitment to the planet on September 26th on the terraces of the Monte Carlo Opera House. The prestigious evening organized by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation with the support of Global Fundraising Chairman Milutin Gatsby, the Monte-Carlo Gala for the Global Ocean has become a major event in terms of awareness and fundraising for the environmental cause, especially the preservation of the oceans. This year again, international artists and philanthropists will be united around the same goal: "to work for a sustainable ocean, for future generations and for the future of our planet". Last year, the auction raised some 21 million euros.
