Lubrizol chemical plant fire first results - Ten days after the fire at the Lubrizol chemical plant in Rouen France’s health minister Agnès Buzyn has said that the first results published on the possible contamination of food products in the area affected by the fire were "very reassuring,". As the government waits for further results the “first samples remain below the recommended thresholds of the normal environment," added the Minister of Health.
Following the fire on September 26th harvesting fruit and vegetables was banned in a hundred municipalities in Normandy and the Hauts-de-France.
