Emmanuel Macron

Emmanuel Macron - In an interview published this morning in Nice Matin, French President Emmanuel Macron has wished “a speedy recovery, and perhaps a form of wisdom" to Genevieve Legay, the 73 year activist who was seriously injured during a banned demonstration of "yellow vests" protestors in Nice on Saturday. Macron added “I first wish her to recover as soon as possible and get out of the hospital quickly, and wish her family peace of mind. But to have peace of mind, you have to behave responsibly”. The family filed legal action against police and the Prefect this morning as an investigation into the incident was opened.
