Earthquake - An earthquake has been reported 25kms from Bressuire in western France in Deux-Sèvres, measuring a magnitude of 4.9 on the Richter scale. The tremor was detected just before 9am this morning. The epicenter was located at Cholet and Bressuire, 72 km from Nantes. The earthquake was then felt from La Rochelle (Charente-Maritime) to Nantes (Loire-Atlantique). Shortly after the first shock, a second was felt of a smaller magnitude of 2.6. No damage has been reported.
