Christmas business - Local businesses in Nice have said they are satisfied with this year’s tourist attendance and the business generated over the Christmas period despite the national strike action against the government pension reform which is ongoing. Despite severe disruption to the regions transport network over the festive season and a bout of bad weather ahead of the holiday’s, business has reportedly been good and the return of mild temperatures and sunshine on Christmas day certainly helped to attract the crowds.
