39 people treated for carbon monoxide poisoning - 39 people including children have been treated by medical staff in Marseille after being poisoned by carbon monoxide. The incident occurred on Sunday evening at a hotel in the city. Emergency services intervened shortly after 10.30pm and the building was evacuated. 28 of the 39 were taken to hospital nearby. Controls are being carried out on the ventilation system of the building as the investigation into the cause of the incident continues.
