Speed limit on French roads

Speed limit on French roads - A recent survey has shown that only 13% of French motorists feel safe on secondary roads in France. However figures showed 76% of motorists are opposed to the lowering of the speed limit. From July 1st the maximum authorized speed limit will be 80 km/h instead on 90 km/h. The new measure will be implemented  on over 400,000km of two way secondary roads on which in 2016, 55% of fatal accidents were recorded.
