SNCF announces job cuts

SNCF announces job cuts - The SNCF has announced job cuts for 2018. According to the draft annual budget presented on Wednesday 13th December to the central committee of the public railway group, the group anticipates 2,081 job cuts in 2018. The posts eliminated will concern "departures not replaced, mainly retirements,". Meanwhile SNCF management said they also plan "more than 5,000 recruitments in 2018, most in the field, for customer contact and infrastructure."
