Planned Terrorist Attack Update - According to reports one of the suspects arrested on Tuesday in Marseille accused of planning a terrorist attack during the French Presidential campaign had been in contact with members of the Chechen community in Nice. Clément Baur allegedly converted in 2007 and was reported missing by his relatives in March 2015. The investigation continues.

Terrorist Plot - French police have arrested two men suspected of plotting an attack just five days before the first round of France's presidential election. The suspects, aged 23 and 29, were arrested by French domestic intelligence service agents in the southern city of Marseille on Tuesday.The French Interior Minister said the “radicalised” men intended to strike “in the next few days in France”. According to sources, police have recovered firearms and bomb materials from the two suspects.
