Monaco’s Director of Public Security has been awarded the French National Order of Merit. In the presence of the Sovereign Prince, and the Minister of State Serge Telle, the Ambassador of France, told Richard Marangoni that he occupies a major and sensitive position in Monaco. He said he brings an eminent dimension to security cooperation between the two countries. The National Order of Merit is a French order which was started in 1963 by General de Gaulle. It rewards distinguished service, military or civil, rendered to the French nation.
Information on negotiations of the association agreement between Monaco and the European Union, has been expanded on the Government of Monaco website.
