Monaco Government Update 24 Jan

The Environment Department is to carry out a high resolution survey of the air quality in the Principality. The survey will involve 52 sensors, which will measure nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide and hydrocarbons throughout February. The survey, in partnership with Air PACA, will be repeated in June, with both measurements calibrating the air quality and taking into account the dispersion of pollutants over the winter and summer seasons.

Monaco’s Department of Maritime Affairs, are to issue new permits for operating pleasure craft, in the form of a plastic card, similar to a driving licence. The old paper licences will remain valid. The department said that the new card is more practical, more secure and more resistant to water.
