Monaco has continued its close cooperation with the MONEYVAL anti-money laundering organisation, by participating in a week-long training session for evaluators in Larnaca, Cyprus. The seminar, which brought together nearly sixty participants from countries across Europe, trains experts to evaluate the policies implemented and demonstrated the Principality’s commitment to the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism.
Due to the Grand Prix taking place this weekend, the Prince’s Government wishes to draw to the attention of road users, that illegally parked cars in the Principality will be impounded. A special service will run from 6am Thursday morning, to 9am Monday morning, making sure the roads are kept clear. Any motorist, whose vehicle is removed, will have to report to the police station in Fontvieille. Motorists should also be aware that the Formula 1 track will be closed to regular traffic from 6am to 7pm each day.
