Monaco Government Update 21 Mar

Prince Albert, along with the President of Columbia, has officially launched Peace and Sport’s #WhiteCard digital campaign in Cartagena. Prince Albert and the Foreign Minister had been attending the final match of a Rugby Sevens tournament on Sunday, and said that sport is a catalyst of “hope for a better world” and that “harmonious relationships can be built between communities and nations through sports.”

World Theatre Day, which was initiated in 1961, takes place next Tuesday, and will be celebrated at the Princesse Grace Theatre. Five theatre companies from the Principality have responded to an invitation to participate, and will perform in a night dedicated to the performing arts and the promotion of dialogue and peace between peoples. World Theatre Day is honoured every year in Monaco, where the Department of Cultural Affairs brings together the Monegasque National Commission for UNESCO and the Theatre Princesse Grace to celebrate the day.
