Monaco Government Update 16 Aug

The Principality of Monaco established diplomatic relations with its 135th state, the island nation of Cape Verde off the coast of Africa. Their economy is based on tourism, and is particularly affected by climate change. Cape Verde is also very involved in the fight against drugs, and in strengthening its ability to meet the challenges of developing infrastructure, agriculture, and ensuring access to water and sanitation, as well as employment and social services.

The Directorate of Human Resources and Civil Service Training has announced it is seeking two Work Inspectors for Monaco’s Public Works Department. Candidates must hold a Baccalaureate, or recognised equivalent diploma in construction, and have at least three years’ experience in building site monitoring, public works and, in particular, collaboration with the contracting authority. More information can be had from the Human Resources and Public Service Training Department, at Stade Louis II in Monaco.
