Monaco Government Update 14 Mar

Monaco has announced the appointment of a new Chief Digital Officer for the principality. Frédéric Genta is a 36-year-old Monegasque, who was part of the Google France management team and previously worked with Amazon and Orange. He will be in charge of all aspects of the Principality's digital transition, including smart-city, E-government, security, digital law and innovation.

A new Award for Sustainability with the Nobel Sustainability Trust and a Global Green Investment Bank, was announced by Prince Albert at the CleanEquity Monaco conference at the Fairmont Monte Carlo. The Prince said he was proud that the conference has become an important part of the sustainability landscape, with some 300 companies presenting their plans to over 1600 attendees. Monaco will host the Sustainability Award Ceremony in 2020 or 2021.
