Income Tax - The French government has confirmed plans to change the way workers pay income tax. Income tax in France will change from being paid one year late via a one-off payment or three or ten-monthly payments, to it being deducted automatically each month. Pay-As-You-Earn (PAYE) is used by most European countries. The French budget minister Gerald Darmanin revealed the change will take place on January 1st 2019.
