French President’s popularity down sharply – According to a poll published today the popularity ratings of French President Emmanuel Macron and French Prime Minister Édouard Philippe are down sharply in September, reaching their lowest level since May 2017. Figures show 29% of French have a favorable opinion of the Head of State falling by 12% compared to figures published in June. Édouard Philippe is also down with his popularity rating down by 5% with 35% of French people thinking he is a good Prime Minister.
