A £10bn move to combine Christian Dior and Louis Vitton has been made by France’s richest man, Bernard Arnault. Under the deal, they will buy the rest of Dior that they do not already own. Shares in Christian Dior have jumped about 12% on the news and LVMH shares rose 4%.
