Eric Ciotti will be resigning as prefect of the Alpes Maritimes after chairing his last meeting as head of the conseil départemental of the Alpes-Maritimes. Monsieur Ciotti has chosen to remain as a deputy and resign as prefect as a result of the law limiting the number of official post which can be held by one individual.
