Le Quai exhibition space on the port in Monaco is hosting a new group exhibition, Looking for Free Knots, curated by Maria Katia Tufano, from a selection of artworks from the collection of Silvia Fiorucci. The exhibition explores concepts around memory and identity and features works from more than a dozen artists. On the occasion of her 90th birthday, Brigitte Bardot is being celebrated with a unique exhibition in the Citadelle of Villefranche-sur-Mer. Brigitte Bardot: Beyond the Image features some previously unpublished photos from the private collection of writer and journalist Henry-Jean Servat, and takes a look at her many links to the Riviera. One of the first films in which Brigitte Bardot starred, Un Acte d'Amour, was filmed in Villefranche-sur-Mer alongside Kirk Douglas. The English-American Library of Nice presents an exhibition of colourful collages by its resident librarian, Derek Gillespie, who was born in Scotland and trained in the London Central School of Arts. The opening is on Saturday 23rd March from 3-6pm. Entry is free, and it’s a chance not just to see the artworks on exhibition but also to visit and discover the library itself. This year, the 52nd edition of the Salon d’Antibes promises to be magnificent and bigger than it used to be with 3,500m2, with the presence of some exceptional pieces and several new exhibitors from France and Italy. Each year, more than 20,000 discover some of the prettiest pieces proposed by the international art market. The exposition will be from the 12th to the 21st of April at the Antibes Art Fair. A collection of events are taking place in Cannes starting this Friday 12th of April until the 21st. From 4:30pm to 7:30pm this Friday, you will find a range of free cultural, sports and leisure workshops for families with giant wooden games, circus games and sports initiations. Internationally renowned artist-engraver Jim Monson will hold an exhibition in his adoptive town, at the espace culturel de Tourette-Levens happening from the 13th of April to 12th of May every weekend, Friday to Sunday, 2pm to 6pm. Showcasing over 40 sculptured wood at this free entry venue, it is the perfect occasion to discover his world of imagination, colour and poetry.
An exhibition is happening in the lovely village of Ramatuelle from the 13th to the 28th of April. The theatre des marquises features a mix of 18th century and contemporary technology with stage costumes and various presentations of photos and short films at the Salle Le Garage – avenue Clemenceau.
From the 26th to the 28th The actress from “Marquises et Cie” will bring the venue to life in person. The venue has free admission which you can access every day, Monday to Friday from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm; Saturday 2pm to 6pm and Sunday 10am to 1pm.

The exhibition NICE IS PARADISE is still happening at the Deck Hotel, on 2 rue Maccarani, where the talented photographer Dylan Tomasoni exhibits for the first time a dozen of some of his most beautiful pictures on the theme of street photography, until the 30th of May. The aim of the artist is to tell the story of life and its precious moments showcase different aspects of Nice’s lifestyle through the different passerby’s of the Promenade des anglais.

The Monegasque Rugby federation is organising the 12th edition of the Sainte Devote Tournament at the Stade Louis 2. This is the benchmark 7-a-side rugby event for young rugby players under the age of 12. Taking place on the 19th and 20th of April, 24 U12 teams from 21 different countries will attempt to win this prestigious competition.
From now until the end of April in ENTREVAUX, recently voted "un des plus beau villages de France", an art exhibition by well-known local watercolourist Nadine Francois-Wear and Marie-Laure Camera, ceramist, with guest exhibits by Sylvie Monti artiste-peintre. The exhibition is free to enter and open every day from 10am to 5pm.

This Weekend in Cannes, find a lovely exhibition of plants and vegetation from Flore Passion. From 10am to 6pm at the Square de Verdun, pointe Croisette, boulevard de la Croisette, Flore Passion will welcome producers, collectors, farmers associations and government bodies that promote the protection of plants and the enhancement of the living environment. Do note that this event will be inaugurated on Saturday 20th at 11am.

The not-to-be-missed event for enthusiast and lovers of classic cars and motor sport, The Rade Classique returns to Villefrance-sur-Mer for its third edition on the weekend of the 4th and 5th May. In Program, on Saturday at 11:30am, the 120 competitors will gather in the Wilson car park before the start pf the first historic climb, which will take place on the Grande Corniche, at the Col des 4 chemins. The cars (over 30 years old) will drive along 2.7km of closed road to the Col d’eze. On Sunday, The Citadelle will hold a remarkable car exhibition.
From the 14th to the 19th of May CAP3000 will be transformed into a true art trail, featuring the captivating works of street artist Le Diamantaire. Entitled "Jeux de Reflections", this exhibition features creations inspired by diamonds, combining movement and light effects in an original artistic approach in which spectators become players in the exhibition by taking photos with the works and exploring their multiple facets. There's also a modern, quirky treasure hunt: the aim is to find the mini-diamonds stuck here and there by the artist in the shopping center, with some great prizes in store.
Registration for the 16th edition of the Marathon des Alpes-Maritimes Nice-Cannes has opened last Thursday to participate in this year’s event happening on the 3rd of November 2024, leaving you plenty of time to warm up and stretch. As a reminder, the record for the race has been set in 2018 by Millaw Abrha 2h7min25secs.
